Take it from me, someone that was avidly against Ford my whole life, I now am the proud owner of a 2017 Ford Explorer and happily driving a vehicle I LOVE!

I worked with Jay V. a young salesman who was easy to get along with. He was the right mix of laid back but still there for any questions I had. He accepted my teasing & criticism when needing specific answers. They worked with my situation of needing paperwork sent out of state for signatures and were very helpful in finding the financing that fit my budget. They also gave me a good price for my trade in.

Current review: we were DEEPLY disappointed by their brusque disregard and callous response to a car service issue, particularly as we had been regular customers for more than two decades. $6000 (Edmunds) used car, less their own estimate of $2800 in repairs gives us a trade in worth... $500? Seriously, there are lots of dealers that actually want our business for us to try to put up with being taken for granted because we're local. We went 20 miles away and were treated as valued customers by Hyundai instead.

I dropped our Taurus X off at the Ford dealership in Waconia at 9:55am for a 10:00am appt. to get new tires and an alignment. When I got there, I asked if I could also get an oil change. They said it was ok to do that. I told them I was going to leave and come back later. They said they would call me when it was done. About two hours later, I didn't hear from them so we stopped by to check the status. They didn't start working on the vehicle yet. The person I talked to thought since I was getting an oil change that we were ok with leaving the vehicle there all day. Not sure why he thought that. At this time they started working on the vehicle right away. We left again. A little after 2:00pm, we returned to see if it was done yet. It still wasn't done yet and they still had to do the alignment. Around 2:30pm, they finally finished with vehicle. During our wait at the dealership, they said they were sorry for the miscommunication on there part. They didn't even offer us a free beverage while we wait. To top it off, they didn't even discount our bill. I will never go there again. I will also tell anyone not to waste their time and go there and to find a different place to go for their vehicle needs.

Recently I was in looking for a new vehicle and did not know much about Ford vehicles. When I arrived, I was greeted by a young man named Jay. I told him what I was looking for in a vehicle and he was able to put all the pieces together and find options for me. He was very knowledgable and easy to work with! He was not pushy at all and made sure that I had all my questions answered in a timely manner. Overall, the experience from when I arrived, to when I made my decision was awesome! Jay has influenced what great customer experience should look like! I would recommend Waconia Ford to anyone looking for a great vehicle either new or used and to experience a great customer service atmosphere! Very well done from all the staff and a HUGE thank you to Jay for helping me out throughout the whole process and making me feel like an appreciated customer!

Previous review: Service is quick, well done, and reasonably priced for a dealership. Rarely any wait to get in, and they've been super helpful when we've had other service problems even with cars we didn't buy here.
