Got a flat tire and limped it in without an appointment. I needed to be somewhere, so they put the spare on so I could leave. While I was gone, they fixed my tire, did an oil change and when I came back, it was all done. They were really busy and yet, they squeezed me in without hesitation. They made me feel like a valuable customer. The bill was reasonable. I highly recommend them.
I found Nicks attitude really condescending and was not happy with the service at all. I'll be going to Ford from now on.
Sooooo I go to talk to Youngstedts again and tell them what Ford found. After some b.s. excuses from him and blaming it on his tech, he offers to replace the rotors for free, under the condition we purchase the parts from NAPA. Basically I get to spend 50 bucks putting subpar parts into my car, only(I'm sure) to inevitably find another "problem" with my car.
Consistent and affordable. I am extremely thorough when I shop for parts and services for my vehicles and I will do as much of my own work as possible. When I do need work done that I don't want to do myself I choose Youngstedt's in Waconia. I've put tires on both my cars through them and gotten great deals for top of the line tires. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. (Four out of five since no one is capable of five out of five.)
Always come here for oil changes and auto repair. Couldn't be happier with the service. All the staff are courteous, helpful, and quick. Plus, they have a couch to nap on right in front of the flat screen!
I go to talk to Ford and my mechanic friend and they basically tell me Youngstedts screwed me over. They had one of their techs drive my car for ten minutes and he is almost positive it's the rotors that are bad.
Where to begin? First time bringing it in for an oil change they noticed the wheel bearings need to be replaced. So I go ahead and do the left one, but was a little tight on cash and asked if it was alright to wait on the right one. He said it would be ok for a few months but it really needed done. Absolutely without a doubt. And he said it would fix the violent vibrations I've been having in my car.
Bring it in later with the sole intention of replacing my right bearing and woah and behold my bearing is fine, its actually my sway bars and ball joints. Apparently the ball joints were falling apart. Which means I need an alignment too. I went with it because i don't know a whole lot about cars. I go and talk with a mechanic friend I have, who replaced my ball joints a little under a year ago. There's no way the joints deteriorated that fast. And the vibration isn't fixed!
