We've been going to this park for nine years, we love it. It's our sanctuary.
Fantastic place for young kids. Soft, sandy beach with a great fishing dock. Toss a little worm on a small hook and let your kid haul in small fish all day long.
Wonderful place to get out and take a nice walk without going too far out if the way.
This place is beautiful. This is my escape from city life when I need a quick nature fix. The staff is great, the programs are fun and unique. The animals they have are pretty cool. They even have a one eyed owl they do programs with. The trails are well maintained, and the playground for the kids is an awesome blend of functional nature and man made. Could not recommend a better place to get away from it all. You can even get on the bike trails from there to some local breweries. All of the staff are professional, and very knowledgeable in a wide range of subjects in all of my experiences with them. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
Great time. Lovely campground sites. Clean porta/pit toilets. Well kept area. Easy to find!
